I was born and raised in Rotterdam, and I’m still happily living in the Netherlands—a country known for its love of cheese, windmills, and wooden clogs (though we don't actually wear them daily!).
From a young age, I had a vivid imagination that led me to dream of a creative career.
Animated TV series were my earliest inspiration, sparking a passion for visual storytelling.

Although I initially studied animation, I soon realized that my true passion was illustration. Bringing whimsical characters to life and creating art that connects with people became my focus, so I taught myself how to illustrate. My work often has a playful and lighthearted feel, but I like to weave in deeper messages that resonate with both kids and adults.

Outside of illustrating, I find solace in quiet moments. You’ll often catch me walking around Rotterdam, reflecting or seeking inspiration from nature. I’m also a regular at the local cinema, thanks to my Cineville pass, where I love immersing myself in films that explore deeper themes of life and connection. And at home, I’m usually reading—whether it’s a thought-provoking novel, spiritual book, or a heartwarming children’s story.
